The Opportunity: We have a great opportunity for an experienced People Business Partner to join our People and Safety team.
Reporting to the General Manager, People and Safety, you will act as the dedicated People Business Partner to the Hardwood Forests Division.
This is a hands-on role where you will work alongside operational leaders to deliver practical, commercially focused people solutions.
You will support the full employee lifecycle, strengthen leadership capability, manage workforce and workplace risks, and help drive safe, sustainable and high-performing outcomes across the business.

About the role: This role will see you translate business priorities into clear people strategies, coach leaders through challenging workforce matters, and provide confident advice on employee and industrial relations.
Your role will span workforce planning, performance and conduct matters, change support, and organisational design, with a strong focus on consistency, risk management and legislative compliance. You will also contribute to broader People and Safety initiatives and projects, sharing insights and collaborating with peers across the team.
This role requires regular engagement with regional leaders and teams and a genuine appreciation of the operational context in which our people work.
What you’ll bring to the role: • Demonstrated experience partnering with leaders in operational or regionally based environments • Strong capability in employee and industrial relations, including advising on enterprise agreements and managing workplace issues • Proven ability to coach and influence leaders, including navigating difficult conversations • Experience supporting workforce planning, organisational change and role design • Sound understanding of employment legislation and risk management • A practical, collaborative approach with strong stakeholder engagement skills • Ability to use data and insights to inform advice and decision making
