What we collect
CodeHub Jobs keeps the data we collect to a strict minimum. You can browse the entire site anonymously without any tracking. If you create an account, we store the data needed to power your account: your email address, an optional display name and avatar, your job preferences, the jobs you save, the searches you save, and the application stages and notes you record yourself.
Authentication & cookies
We use Supabase Auth for sign-in. When you sign in, Supabase sets a small first-party HTTP-only session cookie so we can identify your account on each request. We do not use any analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. We write one entry to localStorage to remember your preferred job-listing view (grid or list). No other data is written to localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB. The only other client-side state is your operating system's light/dark preference, which we read at page load.
Social sign-in (Google, GitHub)
If you choose to sign in with Google or GitHub, the provider sends us your email, name, and avatar URL so we can populate your profile. We never receive your password.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested path, status code, timestamp) for short periods to operate and protect the service.
Third-party data
Job content is aggregated from publicly available career pages and applicant-tracking systems. When you click an Apply button, you're sent to the employer's official career site — their privacy policy applies from that point on.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time by emailing the address below; we will permanently remove your profile, saved jobs, saved searches, and tracked applications.
