About the Opportunity Location: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, working remotely as well as from the closest office location. The Services Project Manager is responsible for managing customer-specific engagements to implement Dayforce HCM solutions. Leveraging Dayforce’s implementation methodology, this role drives delivery according to agreed scope, timeline, and budget while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The Services Project Manager oversees multiple concurrent projects, collaborates with consultants in a matrixed environment, and partners with Education, Product Management, Support, and R&D teams to ensure successful delivery. This role builds strong customer relationships, is accountable for project deliverables and outcomes, and may also support Organizational Readiness consulting initiatives. What You’ll Get to Do • Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring high-quality, on-time, and on-budget implementations. • Plan, manage, and communicate project progress while maintaining momentum and milestone achievement. • Utilize global resources within a matrixed environment to maximize productivity and project outcomes. • Apply Dayforce implementation methodology to drive successful customer implementations. • Set and manage customer expectations related to scope, timelines, governance, risk management, and organizational readiness. • Present and obtain sign-off on project milestones and deliverables including project kickoff, discovery documents, status reports, UAT, support transitions, and project closure. • Facilitate smooth customer transition to Support teams following implementation. • Participate in project health checks and post-go-live reviews with the PMO. • Promote quality standards in project delivery and contribute to PMO best practices. • Motivate project teams to document and contribute reusable solutions and best practices. • Support customers throughout the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Dayforce implementation methodology, templates, and tools. • Participate in Continuing Education and complete new release training. • Mentor consultants on workshop facilitation, requirements gathering, and consulting best practices. • Prepare and manage Change Requests to capture scope and timeline adjustments. • Support working hour requirements, including night shift operations. Skills and Experience We Value • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. • PMI/PMP certification preferred. • 2–5 years of experience in HCM applications consulting and/or project management. • Experience developing and managing project schedules using Microsoft Project and Visio. • Strong business process mapping experience. • Experience in change management is an asset. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with advanced knowledge of Smartsheets; familiarity with Salesforce and GPT tools is a plus. • Experience managing SaaS or cloud software implementations preferred. • Experience implementing solutions such as Salesforce, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Kronos, Workbrain/Infor, RedPrairie/JDA, Ultimate, Oracle HR/Payroll, or Dayforce HCM. • Knowledge of common HCM business practices and software implementation methodologies. • Understanding of industry-specific customer processes and Dayforce implementation best practices. • Strong customer relationship management and business acumen. • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and customers simultaneously. • Excellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills. • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in matrixed environments. • Ability to facilitate customer and internal workshops effectively.
