About the Opportunity The Service Consultant is responsible for all phases of onboarding new clients to the Dayforce system or supporting existing clients upgrading to new Dayforce processing products. Working within a project team, this role delivers effective solutions aligned with Dayforce’s commitment to reliable, repeatable, and high-quality implementation practices. What You’ll Get to Do • Translate business process requirements into configuration requirements for Dayforce solutions across varying levels of complexity. • Collaborate with the Project Manager and project team to complete implementations successfully. • Build strong working relationships with internal teams, customers, and peers to promote teamwork and collaboration. • Independently resolve project issues and escalate when appropriate. • Demonstrate strong understanding of Workforce Management, Payroll, Benefits, and related functions including Finance, labor relations, training development, and technical environments. • Conduct preliminary client interviews, including needs analysis and gap/fit assessments. • Prepare clients for implementation completion by reviewing processes, running interfaces, and providing hands-on support during first live payroll. • Test and document custom solutions while troubleshooting complex issues. • Design and execute system integration and user acceptance testing. • Ensure implementation quality by validating backend changes, user credentials, and billing/remittance configurations. • Support smooth transition activities to the support team post-implementation. • Contribute to project planning activities and ensure delivery timelines and quality expectations are achieved. • Support midday shift operational requirements. Skills and Experience We Value • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology or related field. • Minimum 2 years of experience with Dayforce preferred. • Exposure to project management principles. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. • Bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken. • Experience working with SaaS/Cloud software environments; HRIS experience preferred. • Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, and XML. • Experience with applications such as Salesforce, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Kronos, Workbrain/Infor, RedPrairie/JDA, Ultimate, or Oracle HR/Payroll. • Ability to implement HRIS modules or similar end-to-end solutions effectively. • Strong client-facing and communication skills. • Flexibility to work beyond standard hours when required. • Good understanding of the Dayforce product preferred.
