Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Assistant Manager (Exam Cell) at the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
- manage and oversee all Examination Cell operations for Undergraduate and Graduate Programs at AKUSONAM
- ensure error-free, confidential, and timely conduct of face-to-face and online examinations
- prepare examination schedules and coordinate assessment activities with faculty, Programme Administrators, and academic teams
- supervise Examination Cell staff, delegate tasks, and support staff development and succession planning
- develop, maintain, and monitor Question Banks and online examination systems, including question uploads and retrieval
- ensure quality assurance and quality enhancement processes for examinations and assessment systems
- conduct and supervise pre-hoc analysis, post-hoc analysis, item analysis, monthly reviews, and examination reporting
- monitor examination reliability, validity, and question quality using assessment data and performance analytics
- coordinate examination logistics, admission testing support, and examination-related technology updates
- manage examination records, data management, documentation, and reporting processes
- support budgeting, operational planning, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement
- liaise with internal stakeholders and support examination-related projects, presentations, and reviews.
Requirements:
You should have:
- master’s degree in any discipline
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in a reputable university or academic institution
- proficiency in MS Excel, SPSS, and computer applications
- leadership and supervisory skills
- strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality and work with integrity
- ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
