The Role
Our Smithfield site in Western Sydney, manufactures a range of more than 60 fruit juice, fruit drink and water ice products. The site currently manufactures approximately 110 million litres of finished goods every year including The Juice Brothers, Daily Juice, Mildura and Zooper Dooper.
The purpose of this role is to ensure all processing functions (filling, packaging, palletising etc.) within the Juice manufacturing site are carried out in an effective, efficient, and timely manner. The role delivers product safely, of the highest quality, at the lowest cost, with minimal waste, in the correct quantity and when required.
Please note that this is a permanent night shift role, the incumbent must be available Monday to Friday 10PM to 6AM.
Responsibilities
Operate and oversee multiple filling/packaging lines, including fault finding, troubleshooting, and downtime reduction
Ensure effective handover, reporting, escalation, and adherence to schedules
Identify and mitigate Safety, Quality, and Environmental risks in line with site frameworks
Deliver production targets in full, on time, and within cost
Adherence to Bega’s Safety, Environmental and Quality systems and procedures
About you
Experience working in FMCG environment
A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills – fault finding and basic troubleshooting skills
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Words, Excel, Outlook)
Attention to quality, safety, and detail
