Senior Manager – Procurement and Logistics
The Senior Manager – Procurement and Logistics is responsible for leading end-to-end logistics, supply chain, and procurement functions to support large-scale project execution. The role ensures timely and cost-effective material availability while maintaining compliance with regulatory, safety, and organizational standards. It also drives strategic sourcing, efficient logistics operations, and continuous process improvements to enhance overall supply chain performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end procurement planning, sourcing, vendor evaluation, negotiations, and contract management to secure high-quality materials and services at competitive costs while ensuring strong supplier performance and reliability.
- Lead import operations, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance by coordinating with agents and relevant authorities to ensure timely shipments, accurate documentation, and cost-efficient international trade processes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies aligned with project timelines, collaborating with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards while proactively identifying risks and implementing effective mitigation and contingency plans.
- Maintain accurate procurement and logistics records while preparing regular performance reports, cost analyses, and project status updates for stakeholders.
- Lead and supervise logistics and procurement teams, manage workforce productivity, attendance, and administrative matters, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, with strong academic and professional expertise in procurement and logistics.
- Experienced procurement and logistics professional with strong expertise in end-to-end procurement planning, sourcing, vendor evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
- Proven ability to manage import operations, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with international agents and authorities to ensure timely and cost-effective shipments.
- Skilled in developing and implementing logistics strategies aligned with project timelines in collaboration with project managers and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and safety compliance, with the ability to proactively identify risks and implement effective mitigation and contingency plans.
- Proficient in maintaining accurate procurement and logistics records and preparing performance reports, cost analyses, and project status updates for stakeholders.
