Marketing Specialist

Heartland Bank Australia is continuing to grow, and we are looking for a Marketing Specialist to support the growth of both Heartland Bank Australia and StockCo by Heartland Bank.
This role sits in our Brand and Marketing team and focuses on hands‑on execution across content, campaigns and CRM. You will help deliver marketing activity that supports customer acquisition, engagement and retention across both brands, bringing our strategy to life through clear, consistent and compliant customer communications. What you’ll be doing:
Content and brand execution
Create and deliver marketing content across digital, social, website and campaign channels for Heartland Bank and StockCo
Support brand and product campaigns through on‑brand content and asset development
Work with agency partners to brief, review and deliver creative
Ensure consistent brand and tone of voice across all customer and internal touchpoints
CRM and lifecycle marketing
Support the planning and execution of CRM and lifecycle marketing activity across both brands
Assist with customer segmentation, messaging and testing to improve engagement and conversion
Help deliver customer communications across key lifecycle stages
Ensure all activity is permission‑based and compliant with regulatory requirements
Campaign and marketing support
Support end‑to‑end campaign delivery across multiple channels
Coordinate with internal teams to deliver campaigns on time and to brief
Assist with performance monitoring and continuous improvement
Governance and compliance
Ensure marketing activity complies with legislation, regulations and internal approval processes
Apply customer‑first and vulnerable customer considerations in all communications
What you’ll bring:
Essential
A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business or a related field
At least 2 years’ experience in a marketing role
Experience creating marketing content and supporting campaigns across digital and CRM
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
Desirable
Experience in financial services or another regulated environment
Exposure to CRM, lifecycle marketing or marketing automation platforms
Experience working with agencies or external suppliers
An interest in testing, performance and continuous improvement

You are organised, curious and delivery‑focused. You balance quality with pace, work well with others and understand the importance of compliance in financial services marketing.
