We have an exciting opportunity for an Agrifinance Associate to join StockCo by Heartland Bank. In this role, you will support the day-to-day service delivery and transactional processing for our livestock finance business, while ensuring compliance with Heartland Bank’s credit and risk policies.
You’ll build strong relationships with customers, distribution partners and suppliers, respond to queries, process stock purchases and sales, and help manage associated risk. You’ll also contribute to process improvements that lift efficiency and customer service standards.

Key responsibilities
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, distribution partners and suppliers
Process livestock purchase invoices in line with policy, credit parameters and settlement requirements
Process sales and repayments and proactively follow up livestock proceeds
Support overdue and credit compliance activities, including aged receivables reporting and follow-up
Maintain accurate records and notes in the finance system and update repayment dates in line with credit policy
Ensure information provided to customers (and nominated parties) is accurate, logical and timely
Complete Workday recording, daily bank reconciliations and manage suspense accounts
Provide daily cashflow forecasts and complete drawdowns and repayments in line with policy
Identify improvement opportunities and help lift process efficiency and service standards across the team

Accurate, efficient administration and transactional processing
Managing deadlines, prioritising work and following up proactively
Clear written and verbal communication
Problem solving and handling customer queries with care and attention to detail
Working collaboratively and sharing workload to support the wider team
Ideally, you will also bring
Experience in banking or financial services (customer service and/or administration)
Exposure to agribusiness or livestock industry (helpful but not essential)
Confidence working with policies and process requirements in a regulated environment
Interest in learning and contributing to continuous improvement
