

About the Role
As an Aged Care Home & Community Assistant, you will be providing personalised home care support to older Australians in Katherine so they can continue living independently in their own homes. You will travel between clients’ homes, so a willingness to travel is essential (you will be reimbursed .99c per KM travelled while you are working).
We have a permanent part time position available between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday, with no evening or overnight shifts. This is a great opportunity for someone that is looking to make a positive impact in their community, while developing their skills and building a career.
This position is a female gender-identified role, permitted under the relevant state or territory anti-discrimination legislation as a genuine occupational requirement to support the safety, wellbeing, and expressed needs of the person being supported.

Successful candidates will be required to undertake relevant pre-employment checks to ensure the safety of our clients. This includes a National Criminal History Record Check and an Aged Care Statutory Declaration.
