

We are looking for an EDA Engineer to support and enhance the design environment across business groups. This role focuses on evaluating, implementing, and supporting EDA tools and design flows, while driving efficiency and innovation in engineering design processes. You will act as a key consultant to designers, helping improve workflows and align solutions across teams.
What You Will Do
Evaluate the EDA tool landscape and identify solutions aligned with the design roadmap across business groups.
Act as an EDA consultant, supporting stakeholders in defining and meeting their technical and roadmap requirements.
Provide regional (APAC) support for EDA tools, including development, project setup, deployment, and maintenance.
Develop Python-based applications to support design flows, tool integration, and standalone solutions by using vibe coding (AI)
Create and implement EDA interface scripts to build efficient and scalable design flows.
Identify and implement alternative EDA tools that offer improved quality, cost efficiency, or better Time to Market.
Standardize and scale successful solutions across multiple business groups.
Provide technical support for models, DRCs, PDKs, TCAD, PCMs, and TOs, and quickly acquire new domain knowledge when required.
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Electronics, or a related field.
6+ years of relevant experience in EDA tools, semiconductor design environment, or related engineering domains
Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl, Ruby, or TCL.
Understanding of semiconductor design processes and design flows.
Knowledge or affinity with TCAD, PDKs, and device modeling.
Experience in data processing and analysis.
Open-minded, curious, and eager to explore new technologies and EDA innovations.
Self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to identify challenges and proactively implement solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills with a solid engineering mindset.
Passion for improving tools, workflows, and overall engineering efficiency.
