About the role:
What you will do:
- Ensure adherence of projects to the BCAMX (Nexperia Business Creation and Management), QCM (Quality Change Management) and ATCB Change Control Board.
- The Engineer will handle Standard to Technology Track projects.
- The Engineer is responsible for being the liaison between Nexperia’s Business Group (BG) in Manchester or Hamburg and Nexperia Cabuyao Plant (ATCB) Change Review Board, Management Team, QA, and Operations. He / she will report to ATCB’s NPI Manager.
- The Engineer will be responsible to complete or ensure completeness of the required deliverables on the milestones for each BCAMX gates such as RACI, DFM, Release Checklist, CNP, MRAT, Qualification Report, Safe launch, etc.
- Deploy process and product changes in the production line.
- Perform Safe Launch Tracking.
- Plan resource and logistic needed for the project.
- Perform as necessary, characterization of processes, materials, product and their interactions with the manufacturing environment.
- Collaborates with Manufacturing team to apply MVA/DVA on NPI projects to support DFPC (Package Cost) Improvement, Yield Improvement and Cost Savings.
- Provide support and leadership to other engineers to ensure manufacturability and timely delivery of NPI projects.
- To perform other roles as may be assigned by the superior.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- At least 2–5 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor or related manufacturing industry.
- Basic knowledge of Project Management fundamentals.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, SAS JMP, and/or Minitab.
- Knowledgeable in SPC, DOE, FMEA, and DFM methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver results through teamwork and determination.
- Must demonstrate Nexperia’s Core Values: Passion, Professionalism, Perseverance, and Performance.
- Mature, customer-oriented, and innovative mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; familiarity with Six Sigma and/or 8D methodology is an advantage.
- Able to work independently, collaboratively, and effectively under pressure.
- Willing to travel, if required.
