The Opportunity
Moonee Valley City Council is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to support the delivery of community infrastructure projects within our capital works program.
In this role, you will work closely with Senior Project Managers and Project Sponsors to assist in the planning, design, procurement, and delivery of projects that enhance community assets and services, including sports field lighting, sports field reconstructions, and related infrastructure.
This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging project management professional to gain exposure across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects while contributing to meaningful outcomes for the community.
Key Responsibilities
Skills & Experience
You will have a tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field, along with experience supporting the delivery of construction or infrastructure projects. You bring sound knowledge of contract administration and procurement processes, with the ability to work effectively with contractors and consultants. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills enable you to build positive relationships with stakeholders and translate technical information clearly. You are organised and capable of managing competing priorities across multiple projects, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, and experience within a local government or capital works environment will be highly regarded.
