As the first PX/HR professional in Portugal, you will build and scale the People Experience function locally, ensuring an excellent employee experience, compliant HR operations, and strong support for the growth of Dstny Portugal.
You will act as a trusted partner for employees and managers, owning the full employee lifecycle, payroll coordination, local compliance, and the people-related set-up of our Portugal organization.
Own the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
Act as the first point of contact for all employees in Portugal
Support managers on performance, engagement, employee relations, and day-to-day people topics
Ensure a positive and consistent employee experience aligned with Dstny values
Manage the end-to-end payroll process in partnership with an external payroll provider
Ensure accuracy of payroll inputs including contracts, absences, bonuses, benefits, and variable pay
Own HR administration including contracts, amendments, employee documentation, and records
Ensure all HR processes comply with Portuguese labor law and tax requirements
Ensure full compliance with Portuguese labor legislation and local employment practices
Maintain and update local HR policies, templates, and documentation
Support implementation of local benefits, health & safety, and other legal employer obligations
Partner closely with Talent Acquisition on hiring plans, priorities, and workforce growth
Participate in interviews and candidate assessment when needed
Ensure a seamless onboarding and integration experience for new hires
5–8+ years of HR experience, ideally combining HRBP and HR Operations responsibilities
Strong hands-on experience coordinating payroll processes is essential
Solid knowledge of Portuguese labor law and HR administration
Experience in a scale-up, fast-growing, or international environment
Comfortable working independently and building processes from scratch
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Fluent in Portuguese and English
