Roles and responsibilities:
- Review ICD-10 codes to ensure correct clinical category mapping
- Identify missed reimbursement opportunities across PT/OT, SLP, NTA, Nursing, and Functional Scoring
- Ensure therapy services and clinical documentation are properly aligned
- Utilize CMS tools, the RAI Manual, and internal protocols to maintain regulatory compliance
- Thoroughly scrub assessments prior to submission for completeness and accuracy
Requirements
- Current and valid PHRN license
- 6 months work experience in a clinical setting
- Knowledge with EMR/EHR (Electronic Medical Records/Electronic Healthcare Records)
- Knowledge with MDS coding is a PLUS
- Strong knowledge of prehospital patient care protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good Verbal and Written English Communication Skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Willing to work on shifting schedule.
