Clinical ResearchJob Duties Outlined:
Sort mail; greet visitors; answer and route routine calls; assist with scheduling meetings and meeting logistics; order general office supplies, process invoices and maintain inventory.
Assist CTO research labs with ordering research/office supplies and processing invoices.
Serve as liaison between the Clinical Trials Office and other Cancer Center locations for information/document sharing via daily courier activities.
Assist with the creation of spreadsheets and reports as needed; assist in the creation of presentations or other documents for distribution related to clinical trials.
Assist with the calendars of Clinical Trails leadership team and schedule meetings and events.
Assist with catering needs for CTO.
Assist with planning and organizing annual symposiums.
Arrange travel, provide support for CTO members while traveling and process travel reimbursements.

Work Environment:
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule after 6 months. Incumbent will work remotely and on campus based on a set departmental schedule based on management approval and must reside in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area.
Required Qualifications:
Work Experience:
2 years of relevant work experience. Education may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and Excel), including databases, spreadsheets and word-processing software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Work Experience:
Experience as an administrative assistant or similar position in an academic/ healthcare environment.
Experience with medical terminology and/or working in a clinical setting preferred.

Work independently with moderate supervision.
Prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation Statement:
The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
