As our Senior Vice President , Modernization Business, Americas, you will continue development and implementation of the Modernization strategy as it relates to our Rise to Lead growth objectives to achieve Industry Leading profitable growth in the Modernization Business across the Americas. Your scope includes the development of improved systems/tools, processes and assessing the talent needed to enhance our competitive ability in the modernization market, while partnering with KONE Americas and global leadership to ensure alignment by identifying and sharing best business practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop/Identify and implement collaboratively: a. the Modernization Business Development Strategy in line with our goal of becoming the Industry Leader in profitable growth; b. the most effective modernization sales structure, roles, responsibilities, compensation and skills requirements with associated selling standards and skill assessment tools for each role in conjunction with Sales Effectiveness/Development efforts; c. key modernization sales programs and initiatives focused on improving performance in growth with existing customers and winning new customers.
- Responsible for ensuring the creation and visibility of the necessary reporting and benchmarking around all modernization sales key performance indicators to ensure leadership and sales personnel have clear line of sight to current and potential performance.
- Define the scope and requirements for modernization-related market/business intelligence and related tools, modernization branding, positioning of service offerings and modernization marketing initiatives to generate demand creation.
- Creation, with the regions and central functions, the modernization sales budgets, monthly reporting and forecasts.
- Support and participate in soliciting major modernization opportunities as needed.
- Support and participate in major customer/consultant workshops as they relate to modernization.
You will bring 10+ years of progressive and successful leadership experience with relevant vertical industry/customer industry expertise in a consultative selling environment. You will use the knowledge gained through your bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering, or related field. MBA or MSc is Preferred.

The hiring range for this role in Chicago, IL proper $281,400.00 - $387,000.00 USD. The compensation package offered will depend on their ability to meet the requirements of the role and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.
