Business Manager
This position serves as a college-level business manager, responsible for the financial management of the college's unrestricted and restricted accounts. As well as providing oversight on all accounts receivables and tuition/billing for the Early Childhood Education Laboratory Preschool.
40% Finance/Account Management: Serves as business manager, through the management of all financial functions pertaining to the college’s LSU Online, Summer Term, four Centers & Institutes, Professorships, Foundation accounts, and Residential College. In addition, provides financial management and reconciliation of the college’s state unrestricted accounts/budget, LAA+, ICS and Call Me Mister programs, as well as provides budgetary support to the Assistant Dean of Administration. Assists with professional education, online programs, and grants/contracts in preparation and management of CHSE variable revenue streams, including but not limited to, the college's LSU Online and Professional Education portfolio.
35% College Support Services: Serves as business manager for the Dean's Administrative Support offices; consequently serving as the primary procurement agent for the College, including but not limited to: name tags, paper, envelopes, furniture, CHSE promotional materials, and processes requisitions/purchase orders/professional contracts through coordination with the University's Office of Accounting Services and Procurement; Aids and assists in processing spend authorizations and expense reports for the Dean's Administrative Support units, including but not limited to, all faculty/student travel grant awards. Updates asset management reports for the Coastal Roots van, etc.
10% Pre-College Support: Serves as business (and cost center) manager for the Early Childhood Education Laboratory Preschool
10% Scholarships: Works with Development and Student Services to establish scholarships, designate recipients and process/track payments; reconcile all College scholarship accounts and forecasts earnings; work with Enrollment Management, school-level contacts and staff to manage procedures, establish departmental scholarships, and review student award entries to ensure adequate funding and compliance with LSU Foundation and University policies; and maintains database of scholarships/student awards including criteria, and past and present recipients.
5% Other duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree with three years of related experience

This position has access to/directly handles cash/funds. Financial history/credit check required per FASOP HR-04.
