A Taste of What You'll Do
As a strategic Human Resources Business Partner, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across multiple business functions and locations, helping translate business strategy into people practices that drive results. You’ll play a critical role in shaping organizational effectiveness by aligning talent, culture, and HR programs with business objectives while fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
In this role, you’ll lead organizational planning, development, coaching, and change management efforts that support key initiatives. You’ll partner closely with leaders to anticipate workforce needs, guide talent and succession planning, and ensure teams are positioned for both immediate and long-term success. Through strong relationships with HR Centers of Excellence, you’ll deliver integrated solutions across talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, employee relations, labor relations, and people operations.
You’ll be a hands-on coach and advisor, supporting leaders and employees through performance management, employee relations matters, and times of change. From facilitating leadership team discussions to supporting communications around employee changes, your influence will be felt across the organization. You’ll also play an active role in labor relations, including union contract management and negotiations, ensuring alignment with business goals, legal requirements, and Gallo’s values.

What You'll Need
• Master’s degree plus 3 years of human resources business partner or generalist experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of human resources business partner or generalist experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of Gallo human resources experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 9 years of human resources business partner or generalist experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
• Industrial Relations Experience.
• Ability to influence and build collaborative relationships.
• Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
• Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
How You'll Stand Out
• Advanced education and depth of HR business partner experience, including a Master’s degree plus 5 years or a Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of progressively responsible HR business partner experience, along with at least 1 year of Industrial Relations Experience.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills, with experience driving strategic discussions, speaking effectively to groups, and partnering closely with sales or other client groups that require significant travel, including up to 40% for sales-aligned roles.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations, define problems, collect and interpret data, and develop innovative solutions, including experience with special projects requiring originality and ingenuity.
• Solid technical and business acumen, including proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, experience interpreting policies, safety rules, and procedures, and a strong foundation in the concepts, practices, and procedures of the HR field.
