Food Service Supervisor - 100%

The University of Iowa Health Care department of Food & Nutrition Services is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to supervise the performance of general service staff in designated areas, and enforces departmental work guidelines and policies/procedures. 

• Maintain adequate staffing, food quality, schedules, and quality assurance records
• Complete assigned forecasting
• Order menu items to meet demand
• Assist in providing food service as needed
• Attend assigned meetings and conducts staff meetings

Schedule: 2 week rotating weekend schedule

Week 1: 12:00pm - 8:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Saturday

Week 2: 12:00pm - 8:30pm Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• High School graduation or equivalent and two years of directly related food distribution experience;
  • or any equivalent combination of post high school education and experience providing a knowledge or background in institutional food service distribution
