

Jacksonville Golf & Country Club is excited to announce an exceptional career opportunity of Food & Beverage Manager.
Jacksonville Golf & Country Club is a private-member owned golf and country club located in beautiful Jacksonville, Florida with a short 10-minute drive from the beaches. Members and their guests enjoy clubhouse dining, golf (of course), heated Olympic size swimming pool, tennis with 10 lighted Har-Tru clay courts, fitness, and playground. The championship golf course was designed by both Clyde Johnston and Fuzzy Zoeller and is a big draw to membership. Our Members enjoy the private country club experience in four separate dining venues. The 26,000 square foot clubhouse overlooks the #9 and #18 greens of the lush green golf course.
Salary: $60,000 annually plus bonus potential

Provide excellence in products, services, cost controls and sales in all areas of the Food & Beverage Operation such as: Kitchen, Dining Room, Banquet Area(s), Patio, lounge, and on the Beverage Cart

Qualifications
Culinary or hospitality degree OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Working conditions
Work is primarily indoors. Potential exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils, harmful chemicals and/or being exposed to flying golf balls.

Physical requirements
Good organizational and verbal skills. Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues. Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, monitor and develop subordinates, visually monitor the operation areas, write and read member communication.
Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up 40 lbs.,and up to 30 lbs. frequently. Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting. Ability to consistently lift, carry and load adaptive and other equipment that may weigh 30 or more pounds, and sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes.
