Role Description:
We are seeking an Oracle Applications R12 Functional resource with deep business and system configuration experience in Oracle Financials specifically Service Contracts, Accounts Receivable and Cash Management. This individual will be working with a team of technologists and with business stakeholders to outline solutions to complex issues and identify areas for improvement within the application including integration with non-Oracle systems. This individual will also be responsible for routine maintenance of the application specifically in modules noted above.
• Responsibilities:
• Work closely with business stakeholders to develop solutions within Oracle Applications R12 based on requirements and existing processes and procedures.
• Translate business requirements into system design and configuration to meet desired end states utilizing processes, programs, screens and reports for Oracle Applications R12.
• Suggest system and process improvements based on industry best practices in Oracle Applications R12.
• Perform design and configuration in the system according to business requirements.
• Prepare functional design documents and system configuration documents for new features and enhancements to existing functionality.
• Work with Oracle technical resources to translate business requirements to custom objects within Oracle R12.
• Maintain the application from a system set up a configuration perspective.
• Work on system maintenance (bug fixes) in addition to new development.
• Develop and document test plans and assist technical and business team members with testing and test support.
• Develop training material for the business based on Oracle functionality.
• Qualifications/Skills:
•
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Oracle Financials R12 primarily Service Contracts, Accounts Receivable and Cash Management in a functional capacity.
• Strong understanding of standard Oracle business processes, dependencies, programs, screens and reports in these modules.
• Strong understanding of pre-requisites and system set ups for key business functions in these modules.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience with system configuration in Oracle Applications R12 specifically around Service Contracts, Accounts Receivable and Cash Management.
• Strong understanding of Oracle system architecture including tables, schemas and relationships between tables in Oracle Financials.
• Strong understanding of development methodologies in Oracle.
• Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting functions and processes.
• Ability to facilitate complex discussions and translate requirements into technical specifications for build.
• Experience writing and executing testing documents based on requirements specified.
• Experience documenting design and configuration requirements for enhancements to the system.
• Ability to coach the business of effective use of processes and procedures available within the system including industry best practices.
• Ability to prepare training material for the business based on Oracle R12 functionality.
• Bachelors Degree Required.
