

IESE Business School invites applications for a Postdoctoral position with a background in strategic management or related fields, to conduct research within the Joaquim Molins Figueras Chair of Strategic Alliances. The primary criterion for acceptance is research excellence and an interest in studying topics related to strategic alliances, or broadly inter-organizational relationships. The position will start from September 2022 onwards extending up to three years.
The postdoctoral researcher will work with Chairholder Prof. Africa Ariño on developing conceptual frameworks and empirical studies that extend existing theory and evidence, with the aim to publish in top outlets. While not restricted to, work on Public Private Partnerships and on cross-sector alliances is of particular interest. The position includes time dedicated to continue and publish the researcher’s ongoing research. The researcher will be subject to a formal annual performance review.
The ideal candidate will be thinking of this position as a platform to build skills toward taking on a research professorship in the future.
