Responsibilities / Tasks
- Service Sales OI and Sales Budget responsibility for Flow components – BU Valves and pumps within the Pure Flow Processing Technologies division (PFP) in the ME cluster.
- Technical Knowledge in Handling service / Maintenance of Valves and pumps
- Promoting Service products, Modernization / digitalization / Sustainability goals of the PFP division.
- Close Co-operation between customers and headquarters in Germany.
- Coordination of sales agents activities and achievement of targets
- Promote Channel partners for stocking of Flow components locally.
- Travel within the region and as a minimum devote 20% of your time to make regular customer visits to develop the business, discuss their needs, follow up on open offers, promote spare parts and service products. Collect regular customer feedback on Service performance.
- Ensure improvement of the Net promoter score (NPS) and provide feedback to respective colleagues in New Machine Sales
- Periodic Service sales performance review together with your superior / Service business controller on a regular basis & devise strategy together with your superior and the team to achieve the monthly, quarterly, yearly targets set by the company
- Convey effectively service-related issues reported by customers and resolve it with the head of service execution, Middle East
- Conduct on regular basis market analysis (example - 3-year historic segmentation & ibase penetration analysis) & address timely corrective actions in consultation with your superior
- Participate in the TEAMS call with the team for PFP Service Sales, including forecasts, action plans, backlog review, escalations, and providing direction.
- Ensure personal self-development (IDP) by attending internal trainings, keeping yourself abreast of the latest Service sales offerings and tools to effectively discharge your duties and responsibilities.
- Develop a culture of Teamwork by motivating your subordinates and providing them the tools to grow and perform effectively.
- To coordinate logistic concern for all service orders (repair & Spare parts) booked for Flow components
- Handle coordination for Flow components orders (repair & Spare parts) between customers & sites.
- Follow up with sites all deliveries & documentation requirements.
- Provide monthly analysis on Order backlog & estimated Sales figures.
- Act as a reliever (in case of leave) for the team for processing offers.
- To manage arrangement of Invoices & closing the order in the system.
- Follow up on accounts receivables.
- Coordinate with Finance for payment reconciliation.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience in service sales or order handling will have an added advantage
- Basic technical understanding or strong interest in valves, pumps, and flow components
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with customers and internal teams
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail for handling orders, reporting, and follow-ups
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage
- Willingness to learn and develop in service sales, order management, and customer support functions
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented and cross-functional environment
- Customer-focused attitude with problem-solving capabilities
- Willingness to travel within the region as required
