Primary Scheduled Hours: Days, 80 hours per pay period
Job Summary: Responsible for performing the appropriate procedures to verify patient eligibility, coordinate benefits, run test claims, determine patient coverage/responsibility for services and scheduling patient appointments for all clinics of the facility. Deals directly with health plans to expedite the administrative requirements for patient referrals. Performs other secretarial/clerical duties. Responsible for providing coordination of the provider’s surgery and clinic schedules. Answers phones, triages patient calls, and schedules physician and ancillary service appointments on computer.
