About the role
The finance team at The Guinness Partnership play a critical role in the success of the organisation by ensuring Guinness has a strong financial base supporting us to be a high performing organisation.
We are recruiting for a Finance Partner to join our Finance Partnering & Performance team to provide a full finance partnering service supporting the achievement of effective financial control, delivery of the financial and operational targets of the business and undertaking financial analysis and evaluation of processes.
This is a full time, 35 hours per week, 12-month fixed term contract role based at our Oldham office. We offer hybrid working, blending office days with working from home.
What we are looking for
We are looking for an individual with strong experience in finance partnering and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders. You will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, the capability to prioritise and manage a varied workload and produce clear, insightful management reports. Experience in reviewing and analysing business processes to drive financial improvements is essential, as is technical competence in contributing to the statutory accounts process. The role requires excellent written and oral communication skills, advanced Excel capability, strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and confidence working with complex financial and work‑management systems.
