

ING is looking for a Product Area Lead to deliver AI and Agentic products. This role sits at the heart of one of the bank’s most complex and strategically critical areas: onboarding of new clients and client due diligence at global scale, underpinned by advanced analytics, AI and emerging agentic capabilities.
You will be part of Wholesale Banking Advanced Analytics (WBAA). A tribe that originates, builds, and scales AI products across the Wholesale Bank. This is a global, entrepreneurial role in a high-impact international team, operating at the intersection of product, data, technology, and regulation.
Role Profile
We are looking for an energetic and pragmatic Product Area Lead with a strong passion for combining product strategy with execution. You are a visible role model for modern Product Management and Design thinking and an AI enthusiast.
In this role, you will lead the Onboarding & KYC AI product domain, owning the end-to-end success of data- and analytics-driven products that support client onboarding, periodic reviews, and ongoing monitoring in Wholesale Banking. You will have 4-5 squads reporting into you and you will work closely with AI engineers, data scientists, UX, compliance stakeholders, and business leads to turn complex regulatory requirements into scalable, user-centric AI and Agentic products.
This is a high‑autonomy, high‑expectation role, reporting directly to the Tribe Lead Wholesale Banking Advanced Analytics.
About the Department
Wholesale Banking Advanced Analytics (WBAA) builds AI and Agentic products that create value for ING’s Wholesale Banking clients and the bank itself. With around 100 engineers, data scientists, UX designers, and product managers, WBAA has a strong track record in delivering impact across the WB.
