The Building Automation Systems (BAS) Specialist is responsible for oversight of Salisbury University’s BAS network and energy management operations across campus. The position manages campus-wide building controls, implements strategies to optimize energy usage, coordinates repairs and preventive maintenance, supports campus events and scheduling, and provides technical oversight and indirect supervision of trades personnel. The BAS Specialist ensures compliance with energy standards, leads efficiency initiatives, develops training for staff, and serves as a primary point of contact with contractor and University leadership regarding BAS and energy management.
This position reports to the Technical Trades Operations Manager
Minimum 3 years’ experience in building automation systems, energy management, or related field
Strong analytical and project management skills
Demonstrated ability to interpret BAS data and implement operational changes
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of sustainability principles and energy standards
