Empowering Women to Thrive in IT
Women are still significantly underrepresented across the global tech workforce. At Kinetic IT, we’re committed to helping close that gap by creating more opportunities for women to build meaningful careers in technology.
We’re encouraging women who have always been curious about IT — whether you love gaming, enjoy building your own PC, solving problems, or have a genuine passion for technology to take the next step with confidence. Even if you’ve hesitated in the past or felt the industry wasn’t for you, this program is designed to support and empower women to enter and thrive in tech careers.
Our goal is to create a more inclusive and diverse industry by increasing female representation in technology roles and providing a supportive pathway into the field. While this initiative is strongly focused on encouraging women to apply, we also welcome applications from gender-diverse individuals and others who are passionate about pursuing a career in IT.
No Tech Experience? No Worries!
You don’t need previous IT experience to apply — just basic computer skills, curiosity, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. This program is designed to give women the confidence, support, and real-world experience needed to start a successful career in technology, no matter your background.
Whether you’re changing careers, returning to the workforce, finishing school, or have simply always had an interest in tech, this traineeship creates a supportive pathway for women to enter the IT industry.
Throughout the program, you’ll complete a Certificate III in Information Technology while gaining hands-on experience alongside our supportive teams. You’ll build practical technical skills, grow your confidence in a welcoming environment, and create a strong foundation for a long-term career in tech.
The Role
You'll be guided in providing customer service and support via phone and internal tickets for troubleshooting IT related issues, playing a part in delivering Kinetic IT’s award-winning customer service. You’ll get paid to study and learn on the job, while working towards a recognised qualification.
