Role Summary
Murkez is seeking a hands-on Head of AI Transformation – Operations to lead AI and automation initiatives across both client-facing operations and internal back-office functions delivered from Lahore.
This role will work across delivery teams and internal functions to identify opportunities, implement automation solutions, and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost.
The position is accountable for end-to-end execution—from idea to implementation to measurable results.
This is not an advisory role. The position owns delivery, adoption, and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Drive AI Transformation Across Client & Internal Operations
Partner with delivery teams supporting clients across verticals
Work with internal functions (Finance, HR, Operations)
Identify inefficiencies within both client workflows and internal processes
Proactively bring and implement ideas to improve turnaround time, service quality, and cost efficiency
Build & Own Automation Roadmap
Develop and maintain a pipeline of automation initiatives across client operations and internal back-office functions
Prioritize based on ROI, scalability, and repeatability
Identify solutions that can be reused across multiple clients and functions
End-to-End Execution
Design and deploy RPA solutions (UiPath or similar), AI-driven workflows (LLMs, document processing, copilots), and process automation tools (Power Automate or equivalent)
Deliver production-ready solutions, not just pilots
Move quickly from idea to implementation
Drive Measurable Business Impact
Own and report reduction in manual hours, cost savings, utilization improvements, and turnaround time improvements
Demonstrate clear ROI from all initiatives
Standardize & Scale
Build repeatable automation frameworks across multiple client accounts and internal functions
Reduce dependency on individual-driven workflows
Create consistent, scalable processes
Adoption & Enforcement
Ensure delivery teams and internal teams adopt implemented solutions
Work with leadership to embed AI-driven workflows
Provide training and enforce consistent usage
Requirements
Required Qualifications
8–12+ years of experience in operations, process transformation, or consulting
Proven track record of delivering automation in operational environments
Hands-on experience with RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or similar), AI tools / LLM-based workflows, and process automation platforms
Strong understanding of finance and back-office operations
Ability to work across both internal teams and client-facing environments
Preferred Experience
Experience in BPO / shared services environments
Exposure to multi-client delivery models
Experience supporting process-heavy functions (finance, HR, operations)
