About the role
We’re seeking an experienced Senior ERP Project Manager to lead the delivery of major Group Finance systems initiatives, including ERP cloud migration and finance compliance tooling.
This role partners closely with Group Finance, Technology, Risk and external vendors to translate complex business requirements into fit-for-purpose solutions that strengthen controls, improve reporting, and enable scalable finance operations. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring strong governance, audit readiness and smooth adoption across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing
ERP & Finance Systems Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of ERP initiatives, including upgrades and cloud migrations, ensuring outcomes are delivered to agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality.
- Coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams such as data migration, integrations, testing, cutover, training and change.
- Manage ERP implementation partners, system integrators and vendors, including delivery performance, RAID management and commercial oversight.
- Drive post-go-live stabilisation, benefits realisation and continuous improvement.
Data Migration & Technical Oversight
- Lead hands-on ERP data migration activities, including data profiling, cleansing, enrichment and reconciliation.
- Define and maintain data mapping and transformation rules in collaboration with Finance SMEs and technical teams.
- Plan and execute mock loads, defect triage and cutover cycles, ensuring data accuracy and stakeholder sign-off.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Establish and run robust project governance including steering committees, stage gates, executive reporting and decision forums.
- Own RAID management, proactively managing risks, issues and dependencies.
- Ensure ERP controls are embedded by design, including access management, segregation of duties, change control and release approvals.
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities, preparing evidence packs and supporting remediation through to closure.
Stakeholder & Change Leadership
- Partner with Finance, Technology, Risk and Operations leaders to shape requirements and target-state processes.
- Lead cross-functional delivery teams and external partners, setting clear expectations and delivery standards.
- Support change readiness through effective communication, training and transition planning for impacted users.
What You’ll Bring
- 8–10+ years’ experience delivering corporate finance systems initiatives, including ERP upgrades or migrations in complex environments.
- Proven experience leading the full ERP delivery lifecycle — discovery through to hypercare.
- Strong hands-on capability across data migration, reconciliation and data quality management.
- Experience working with ERP platforms such as Infor ERPLn / Cloud Suite or similar.
- Solid understanding of finance controls, audit evidence and compliance requirements.
- Experience delivering integrations with planning and analytics tools (e.g. IBM Planning Analytics / TM1, Cognos) is desirable.
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, IT or a related discipline; CPA/CA preferred.
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills; SQL capability is highly regarded.
