Alfred Care Group is seeking an experienced and motivated pharmacist to join the Learning and Development team as Senior Pharmacist. This is a unique opportunity to join one of the most progressive hospital pharmacy services in the country. Both positions with be based at Alfred Care Group offering the opportunity of a variety of different education focused portfolios. You’ll strengthen local capability to deliver and sustain effective learning and development initiatives that support a skilled pharmacy workforce.
About the Department & Team
The Pharmacy Department works closely with patients, their family and other health services to provide high level pharmaceutical care. Our departments' priorities are to provide information on medication safety, cost-effective use of medication for patients and deliver specialised pharmacy expertise at important points of a patient's recovery or treatment process. Our pharmacists are recognised as essential members of all clinical teams, actively engaging in a unit and team-based care model involving ward rounds and collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient care outcomes. There are vast opportunities to engage in Advanced Scopes of Practice.

You may not have any formal experience in an education team, but have a strong baseline of knowledge and skills to build on from clinical practice.
