About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Pastry Demi Chef De Partie position to join our Kitchen Department in Jumeirah Mallorca.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
• Organize and set up the pastry section to ensure efficient preparation, consistent quality, and proper stock levels.
• Prepare and present pastries in line with standard recipes while controlling food costs and minimizing waste.
• Support the pastry team by assisting in production and guiding junior staff when needed.
• Manage daily inventory, stock rotation, and storage while maintaining strict food safety standards.
• Follow all hygiene and safety procedures, maintain a clean workspace, and contribute to new pastry creations and menu development.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
• Experience in a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment, maintaining high standards and quality.
• Good teamwork and communication skills, with a professional and approachable attitude.
• Detail-oriented, ensuring consistency, presentation, and quality in all pastry preparations.
• Flexible and adaptable, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing demands.
