We’re looking for an E/E Architect, to reinforce E/E Architecture team in definition and development of electrical and electronic concepts for our next generation vehicles. You’ll translate system and product requirements into a coherent, scalable E/E platform that connects HW, SW and vehicle functions.
This role is about seeing the big picture, blending-in the Functional Safety expertise, driving the FuSa lifecycle for safety-relevant systems (vehicle dynamics, powertrain, gearbox/clutch, braking, cockpit & body electronics integration) to achieve and maintain target ASIL and product release readiness.
You’ll complete technical teams, ask the right questions, and make balanced decisions that keep performance, cost, safety, and integration in harmony.
What you will do
- Support definition of overall electrical and electronic architecture, including power distribution, communication networks, and domain or zonal structure
- Translate functional requirements into clear architectural concepts and interface definitions
- Oversee system-level trade-offs and ensure consistency across all vehicle domains
- Work closely with HW, SW, Mechanical, and Validation teams to ensure smooth integration
- Oversee communication and diagnostic strategies across the vehicle network
- Ensure that architecture decisions align with functional safety and cybersecurity requirements
- Act as a technical guide and support cross-functional teams throughout development,· Communicate architecture choices and rationale to leadership and key stakeholders
- Exposure to vehicle integration, validation, or HIL/SIL testing
What you will bring
- Experience defining vehicle-level E/E architecture
- Solid understanding of ECU platforms and in-vehicle networks
- Systems engineering mindset with structured requirements management
- Experience working across hardware, software and validation teams
- Experience working in safety-critical automotive environments
You may already have led Functional Safety activities, or you may have been the architectural counterpart to safety engineers and are ready to take ownership of that dimension. - Practical understanding of Functional Safety at system level
- Experience contributing to HARA, FMEDA, FTA or safety cases
