About the Role
Working directly alongside the Chief People Officer, you will own both the day-to-day operational HR delivery and the business partner relationship with managers and employees across Denmark and our internationally distributed team.
You will be someone who is equally comfortable navigating a complex disciplinary process and setting up a new employee in the HRIS the same morning. You take ownership, you spot problems before they escalate, and you understand that in a company of this size, excellent HR is a genuine competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Compliance
– First point of escalation for managers on performance, conduct, absence, and grievance matters in Denmark and Sweden; manage cases end-to-end with the CPO as sounding board on complex situations.
– Maintain and update the employee handbook, employment contract templates (DK and SE), and the full HR policy suite; track legislative changes in both jurisdictions and ensure Zenvo remains compliant.
– Serve as the day-to-day liaison with the Employer of Record provider managing 8 international employees; ensure consistent application of Zenvo standards and a high-quality employee experience regardless of employment entity.
Talent & Recruitment
– Manage end-to-end hiring for employed roles in Denmark and Sweden: job profiling, job advertising, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer management, and pre-boarding.
– Partner with hiring managers to build structured, consistent interview processes; coach on role profiling, evaluation criteria, and feedback quality.
– Manage the ATS and ensure a professional, timely candidate experience that reflects the Zenvo brand.
HR Operations & Administration
– Own the employee lifecycle end-to-end: draft employment contracts, coordinate system access and equipment for new starters, manage offboarding processes and exit interviews.
– Own and maintain the HRIS: ensure employee master data accuracy across all employment models, manage self-service configuration, and generate standard and ad-hoc people reports for the CPO and leadership team.
– Maintain the contractor register (~22 contractors): track engagement terms, contract renewals, and IR35/misclassification risk; work with Finance to ensure purchase order and invoicing processes are compliant.
– Administer employee benefits (pension, health insurance) across Denmark and Sweden; act as the primary contact for benefit providers and handle employee enrolment and change requests.
Culture, Engagement & Development
– Support the design and delivery of the annual employee engagement survey; analyse results, identify themes, and work with the CPO and leadership to build action plans.
– Own the onboarding programme: continuously improve the new starter experience from offer acceptance through to the end of probation, including induction scheduling, buddy assignment, and 30/60/90-day check-ins.
– Coordinate the annual performance review cycle and any training or development programmes; manage vendor relationships and track completion of mandatory training.
What We’re Looking For

The Opportunity
This role is explicitly designed to grow with Zenvo. As the business scales toward 150 and beyond, the Senior HR Generalist will be given the choice to deepen into a dedicated HR Business Partner position, taking on people leadership and strategic responsibilities.
Zenvo Automotive is a small, highly specialist manufacturer of high-performance supercars. The culture is technical, ambitious, and unpretentious. If you want to do real HR work, not process management, this is it.
