Synopsis
He / She reports to the Manager Production within the EASA Part 21G Production Organization. He / She is responsible for fabrication/ modification / repair of composite and structure components along with Part 21 G production activities in accordance with approved data and procedures and as directed by the Manager Production.
Accountabilities
- Ensure that EYEng's procedures and standards are complied with when carrying out Production. Ensure procedures for issuing of EYEng EASA Form 1 for the completed parts are followed in compliance with Part 21G regulation for new parts/prototype parts or test samples.
- Perform fabrication/ modification / repair of composite and structure components i.a.w with approved maintenance data such as Engineering drawings, design drawings, AMM, SRM etc.
- Review, ensure completeness of all incoming Design Data and report shortfalls to the engineer/ supervisor.
- Ensure the availability of production materials and report to engineer if the stock is below safety level.
- Report all production queries, ensuring on-time completion of queries, closure and verification of Production Requests, provide operational Production support.
- Coordinate with various POA production workshops to ensure to accomplish the production activities in timely manner.
- Monitor and raise Purchase Request for all non-stock purchase related to POA activities. Ensure all POA related financials are monitored and to compile monthly report to DEI management.
- Maintain the standards for an efficient engineering process from technical evaluation, concept solutions, approval validation and/or certification and documentation.
- Proactively involve in Quality, Safety and Health matters.
Education & Experience
- Completed Aircraft maintenance engineering / Aeronautical engineering / Production engineering in diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2.5 years of job specific experience as Structure/ Composite/ Production technician in an airline or MRO or OEM.
- Sound Knowledge of aero structures and composite structures and associated repair techniques.
- Production / repair experience of composite panels and other aero structures
- Ability to read, understand & interpret approved maintenance documentation such as SRM, SBs, Design Drawings etc.
- Knowledge of EASA Part 21 G (POA) organization.
- Knowledge of aircraft material management.
- Able to effectively communicate with various internal and external stake-holders.
