Solutions Developer

Knowledge    

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science.
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, ReactJS, VueJS, Angular)
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, Vue, React, Node.js)
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache) and UI/UX design
• Knows how to use source code repositories (e.g. GitHub, GitLab)
• Expert knowledge of Agile software development (Scrum) methodologies
• Strong understanding of SOA and Microservices
• Strong understanding of IBM Middleware technologies (Datapower, APP connect, API connect)
• Take on other tasks and projects as and when required

Experience

• Proficiency with multiple front-end programming languages
• Proficiency with multiple back-end programming languages
• Familiarity with common stacks
• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
• Proficiency with databases, APIs, version control systems
• Experience working with Agile development technologies.
• Working experience within the financial services industry, preferably banking

Responsibilities

• Managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment

  Collaborate with development teams and product managers to ideate and create innovative software solutions

• Design and construct APIs for solutions development
• Integrate front-end UIs with the constructed APIs
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases, applications, and APIs
• Write clean, functional code on the front and back-end
• Test and fix bugs and other coding issues
• Develop and maintain technical documentations on all developed solutions
• Modify and test changes to previously developed programs
• Design and deploy databases for solutions development
• Take on other tasks and projects as and when required
