Role purpose:
The Solutions Development Specialist is responsible for
designing, developing, and maintaining innovative technology solutions that
enhance sales operations efficiency, visibility, and scalability. This role
ensures seamless integration of applications with backend systems, accurate
data management, and robust analytics capabilities to support informed
decision-making. By delivering intuitive user experiences, optimizing
performance, and implementing secure, compliant systems, the specialist enables
nationwide sales teams and distributors to operate effectively. Additionally,
the role drives innovation through emerging technologies and aligns development
initiatives with business objectives to achieve operational excellence and
growth.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
1. App Development and Maintenance:

Develop and maintain core features of the
sales application, including order processing, stock visibility, SIM
activations, and distributor dashboards.

Continuously enhance app capabilities to
support evolving sales strategies and campaigns.
-
Ensure application scalability to handle
nationwide sales volumes and peak demand periods.
2. User Support and Training:

Design intuitive interfaces for
field sales teams, zonal managers, and distributors.

Provide technical/operations support to
agents, distributors, sales managers, regional sales executives, and sales
operations teams.

Conduct training sessions and create user
documentation to help users effectively utilize the Telco Sales App.

Gather feedback from users to identify
areas for improvement.
3. Systems Integration:

Integrate the
sales application with backend systems such as DMS, BI, UNIK, FSM, and Oracle.

Enable
real-time data flow between sales teams, distributors, and finance.
-
Develop APIs
for seamless connectivity with internal and third-party logistics and
distributor platforms.
4. Data Management & Analytics Enablement:

Ensure accurate capture of sales
transactions, stock movements, and distributor performance.

Build reporting modules and dashboards for
sales managers and executives.
-
Support predictive analytics initiatives
(e.g., demand forecasting, SIM stock planning).
5. Performance & Security Management:

Optimize application performance for speed
and reliability, even in low-connectivity regions.

Implement robust authentication, data
encryption, and compliance with telecom regulations.

Monitor system health and proactively
resolve performance bottlenecks.
6. Innovation & Capability Development:

Explore emerging technologies such as
AI-driven sales recommendations and geo-mapping for distribution routes.

Pilot advanced features like digital trade
visibility, automated stock reorders, and mobile-first dashboards.

Collaborate with commercial teams to align
app development with business KPIs.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience

Basic proficiency in
programming languages (e.g., Php, dart, JavaScript, typescript, swift, Python, SQL
etc) and development tools.

Basic proficiency in frameworks
(flutter, Laravel, react, angular)

Basic proficiency in data
analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).

problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
