We are looking for a People Operations trainee to join our People Operations team in Helsinki, Finland.

Our People Operations team keeps the engine running. We own global people processes, systems, and compensation & benefits, and we make sure every decision we make is backed by solid data. From streamlining payroll operations to building smarter analytics capabilities, we're a team that genuinely loves finding better ways to do things.

We work closely with stakeholders across the whole organization, so everything we do is built around one thing: creating exceptional experiences for every team member, at every stage of their journey with us.

What you'll be doing
As our People Operations Trainee, you'll roll up your sleeves and get stuck into the real work from day one.
That means:

• Maintaining and updating our people systems, keeping data quality sharp
• Participating in reporting, analytics, and helping us level up our data capabilities
• Troubleshooting issues and being a reliable pair of hands in day-to-day operations
• Taking part in development projects — from planning and testing to rolling out new features
• Handling incoming People & Culture tickets, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks
• Supporting employees with day-to-day requests, while keeping an eye out for recurring topics that could be addressed through an AI-powered self-service tool
• Supporting payroll data gathering and helping combine data from multiple sources accurately and on time
• Bringing fresh energy, ideas, and a willingness to challenge the status quo

Requirements

What we're looking for

You're someone who gets genuinely excited about data, loves exploring new tools, and isn't afraid to take initiative, but you also understand that we work for the whole organization, and keeping people's experiences front and center is what drives everything we do.

More specifically:

• You're tech-savvy and pick up new systems fast
• You're precise, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with data — Excel and Power BI feel like home
• You're curious about AI tools and actively find ways to use them in your work
• SQL skills are a plus, and enthusiasm for learning counts for a lot
• You're interested in modern People practices, employee experience, and how great operations create great workplaces
• You take ownership, push things forward, and don't wait to be told what to do next
• You communicate clearly and confidently in English, both in writing and in person
• You're collaborative at heart — you bring energy to the team and remember the bigger picture

This is a paid fixed-term contract for four months, starting in May 2026 (start date can be agreed).

The salary will depend on your study credits and will range between 2200-2880 EUR/month.
