Compliance & Risk Officer | MCB Investment Services | MCB Capital Markets Ltd.| April 2026

MCB Capital Markets (MCBCM), the Investment Banking, Asset Management and Proprietary Investment arm of the MCB Group, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance & Risk Officer to strengthen its operational risk management framework. This role will play a key part in identifying, assessing and monitoring operational risks, promoting a strong risk culture, and ensuring adherence to internal policies, procedures and regulatory expectations. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the business to enhance risk awareness, improve controls, and contribute to the effective management of operational risk across all MCBCM activities.

Job vacancy: Compliance & Risk Officer
 

In this role you will,  

• Providing guidance to MCBCM staff on operational risk matters;
• Conducting operational risk assessment of new products and services to ensure an adequate control environment;
• Assisting the Head of Risk Management & Compliance in promoting operational risk awareness across MCBCM;
• Developing, updating and tracking key risk indicators for all activities of MCBCM;
• Identifying control issues through regular compliance monitoring exercises and implementing corrective action plans;
• Preparing and updating risk policies and procedures and disseminating information to all MCBCM staff;
• Preparing and delivering training on risk-related matters;
• Recommending risk-mitigating strategies to reduce operational risk losses and addressing business process inefficiencies.

We are looking for candidates who have a:

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Law, Economics or a related field;
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in risk management; internal control; Risk, audit, or control functions within financial services, investment firms, or capital markets

A combination of both qualification & experience will be considered.

Candidates who possess the following qualifications will also be considered: 

• ACA, ACCA, CFA (or progress towards them)
