Business Development Manager - PNG

The Business Development Manager supports the identification and development of growth opportunities to enhance sales performance and profitability. The role works closely with the Director, Global Client Solutions and the PNG Country Manager to drive business development initiatives across Papua New Guinea, including market research, client engagement, and bid coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with growth targets.
• Conduct market research and support strategy development.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and business cases.
• Forecast sales targets and growth opportunities.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Support cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop client solutions.

Bid & Tender Coordination

• Monitor tender opportunities and manage submission processes.
• Prepare and submit compliant bid documents within deadlines.
• Coordinate inputs from internal stakeholders.

Administration & Compliance

• Maintain accurate databases, records, and documentation.
• Provide administrative support to the Business Development team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in business development, sales support, or bid coordination.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism.
