We are currently seeking a Business Development Officer to join our team on a permanent full-time position at our Simberi Operation. Your work location is Papua New Guinea, working a 21/14 Roster from Kavieng, Rabaul, Buka, Port Moresby, Lae, Mt Hagen, Madang, Goroka, Alotau, Wapenamanda, Popondetta, Hoskins, Wewak, Vanimo, or Tabar group of Islands. Reporting to the Community Relations Superintendent, the Business Development Officer is responsible for supporting the development, growth, and long-term sustainability of landowner-owned businesses and enterprises linked to Simberi Mine operations. The role ensures that landowners actively participate in spin-off and supply chain business opportunities generated by mining activities, with the goal of building viable, profitable, and sustainable enterprises that can operate beyond the life of the mine. The position plays a key role in strengthening economic empowerment, entrepreneurship, and local business participation within mine-impacted communities.
