About the role
The Manager – Partnership & Client Care plays a pivotal role in driving the firm’s marketing, business development, and client engagement initiatives. Reporting to the P&CC Growth Lead, this role is responsible for strengthening client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing strategic marketing and partnership initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a commercially minded professional with strong relationship management skills, marketing expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a focus on brand positioning, client engagement, business development, and partnership management. It also involves working closely with internal teams and senior executives to support marketing, client retention, and revenue growth objectives.
Responsibilities
- Implement client engagement and partnership strategies to enhance business growth
and brand positioning.
- Support business development initiatives, identifying new client opportunities and strengthening existing relationships.
- Manage client feedback programs, ensuring insights are leveraged to improve service delivery and enhance client experience.
- Plan and execute client events, networking opportunities, and industry engagement initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market insights, identifying strategic opportunities for growth.
- Manage key sponsorships, partnerships, and external collaborations that align with the firm’s business objectives.
- Track and report on business development performance metrics to inform strategic
decision-making.
- Oversee the use of customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, ensuring data-driven marketing and sales efforts.
Key skills and experience
- Proven experience in business development, marketing, or client relationship management within a professional services environment.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify and capitalise on business growth opportunities.
- Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Expertise in marketing strategy, brand management, and digital marketing.
- Strong leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and get the best results from a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and marketing materials.
- Highly organised, with strong project and time management skills and the ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in event planning, sponsorship management, and industry networking.
- Knowledge of the legal, consulting, or corporate services industries is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms, with
experience running sales and marketing campaigns.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently and thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking, with a focus on delivering measurable business results.
