Summary:
The Co-Group are hiring a female support worker to assist our client in Rooty Hill, NSW. The client is a young female with mobility issues of the lower body, requiring support on Thursday's from 4pm to 6:30pm. Suitable candidates are confident to assist with social support, i.e. assistance to improve social skills and maintain independence. Community access is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Support clients in social and recreational activities to promote engagement and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in behaviour or health to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and organisational policies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a support worker or in a similar role is preferred.
- NDISWC for paid work
- Working with Children Check NSW for paid work.
- A fully comprehensive insured vehicle
- Australian driver's license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
