As a member of the Finance & IT team, the
Director, Business Information Technology is an in-house expert and will act as a professional advisor on all aspects of Information Technology activities including the development of business process improvements, telecommunications systems, and IT-related security measures that support the strategic plan and meet the goals and objectives of CGT.
Key Responsibilities
- SAP: Develops and implements company plans associated with SAP functions. Leads implementation of SAP projects, globally. Identifies risks and handles risk mitigation strategies. Heads SAP testing and confirms that issues are properly documented.
- Security: Sets, develops and maintains the strategy for cyber security to improve efficiency, coverage, and value.
- General: manages systems, procedures and policies, and oversees the planning, implementation and evaluation of the organization's business systems including computer, telecommunications software, networks and information systems, to support timely delivery of business intelligence for the organization.
- Develop a comprehensive IT budget and business plan, annually.
- Develop and implement IT-related policies, procedures and practices.
- Establish collaborative arrangements with internal customers and external vendors to achieve organizational goals.
- Lead and manage IT staff using internal performance management processes and programs.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to travel to other global sites.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor's Degree and/or specialized certification in applicable fields - Business Administration, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or similar.
7-10 years of experience in SAP implementation and troubleshooting including BI reporting - expert level knowledge - in a manufacturing environment.
5 years of experience in cyber security systems and protocols.
Strong project management skills and experience.
Ability to make complex decisions and solve problems with a high level of analysis.
Experience managing and leading a team of IT professionals.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Superior ability to create and sustain various relationships, both internally and externally.
