Head of Product Development and Innovation – General Manager/Deputy General Manager
Candidate Profile -
Qualified in Textile Engineering (Preferably a BSc in Textile Engineering or a Similar qualification).
Experience in a Senior role in product Development/Innovation for more than 5 years and Industry experience more than 10 years.
Experience in working with High end Brands.
Sound knowledge in Knitted Fabric Developments and Production Process.
Good knowledge in Knitted Fabric constructions, Dye techniques, Finishing, Quality Assurance and sourcing processes.
Good communication skills and PR Skills.
Ability to work independently with limited guidance.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute the Product Development and Innovation strategy aligned with the company's vision and goals.
Ability to anticipate problems, offers solutions, and address issues with materials to meet the Product Development/Product Innovation Teams KPI’s.
Lead and mentor a team of Product developers, Designers, and Engineers.
Foster a culture of Innovation and creativity across the organization.
Work closely with the Senior management to align Product Development and Innovation initiatives with the overall business strategy.
