Freelance Digital Cloud Architect Advisor – SAP (B2B)
Role Overview
We are looking for a Freelance Digital Cloud Architect Advisor to support cloud transformation initiatives focused on SAP private cloud solutions. The role is client-facing and involves advising customers on architecture, feasibility, and migration strategies, while supporting the full lifecycle from pre-sales to delivery handover.
Key Responsibilities

Advise customers and stakeholders on SAP private cloud offerings (RISE with SAP S/4HANA, private edition)

Present technical and operational aspects to CIOs, IT managers, and technical teams

Lead technical assessment workshops to define target cloud architectures and migration roadmaps

Evaluate technical feasibility and guide customers on best-fit cloud solutions

Support solution positioning across SAP data centers, premium suppliers, and hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Guide customers on non-functional aspects (security, compliance, networking, business continuity, operations)

Support pricing activities using internal tools and collaborate with sales teams on deal structuring

Act as the technical lead in customer discussions and coordinate with delivery and expert teams

Ensure smooth transition from sales to delivery (handover to cloud delivery teams)
Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of SAP consulting experience in customer-facing roles

Strong experience in SAP Basis and SAP solution architecture

Solid understanding of SAP product portfolio, especially S/4HANA and cloud offerings

Experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, or SAP implementations

Good understanding of SAP operations in cloud environments

Knowledge of at least one hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to engage with both business and technical stakeholders

Fluent in English

Experience in pre-sales or solution advisory roles

Experience with SAP BTP and cloud ecosystems

Exposure to cybersecurity, compliance, and ITSM frameworks

Experience with SAP Application Lifecycle Management and operations
