Basic knowledge of:
- Microsoft Intune
- Ability to understand the configuration and management of endpoint devices, policies and compliance settings within Microsoft Intune environments.
- Entra ID
- Ability to manage user and devices identities, assist with access management and support authentication processes.
- PowerShell
- Ability to use and adapt PowerShell scripts
- Networking fundamentals
- Ability to understand basic networking concepts and support troubleshooting of connectivity and VPN related issues.
Support experience in Windows (optional iOS & MacOS) and hardware environment topics (First Level experience is welcome)
- Windows Hello for Business (WHfB)
- Ability to assist with configuration and troubleshooting of secure authentication solutions such as Windows Hello for Business.
- VPN
- Ability to support VPN configurations and resolve connectivity issues for end users.
- BitLocker
- Ability to support and troubleshooting BitLocker encryption in enterprise environments.
- BIOS
- Ability to configure, verify and troubleshoot BIOS and firmware settings on corporate devices.
- Updates and drivers
- Ability to manage and troubleshoot Windows updates and device driver related issues.
- Root Cause Analysis (e.g., logs, Event Viewer, registry)
- Ability to analyze system logs and use troubleshooting tools such as Event Viewer and registry for issue investigation.
Workload Distribution
- 80% - Handling support tickets within the EDM (Endpoint Device Management) environment
- 20% - Working on additional areas such as:
- Infrastructure topics (configurations, policies, security)
- Application management (including scripting)
- Other technologies such as Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365
