Join us at our St. Mary Bourne (SMB) site in Andover, where we proudly operate in a fast paced, chilled FMCG environment delivering great products and great service every day. • About the Role As a Day Shift Supervisor, you’ll lead and coordinate the production team to ensure smooth operations, high standards, and outstanding results. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining safety, quality, performance, and team development across your shift. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys leading from the front, driving improvements, and supporting people to reach their potential. • What You’ll Be Doing • Leading a team of Factory Operatives in a chilled food manufacturing environment • Ensuring excellent standards of Health & Safety, GMP, and hygiene at all times • Managing shift handovers to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime • Monitoring performance and ensuring production targets are achieved • Planning staffing levels to cover holidays, absence, and peak periods • Identifying process improvements and driving continuous improvement initiatives • Supporting training, development and succession planning within the team • Managing attendance and performance in partnership with HR • Ensuring full traceability and audit readiness using systems such as IFS/Cedar Bay • Delivering outstanding service levels for our customers • Skills & Experience • FMCG experience (essential) • Line management & employee relations experience • Strong planning & organisation skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Confident with Microsoft Office (Intermediate level) • Experience using time & attendance systems (e.g. Dayforce) • Fluent English – bilingual/multilingual welcome • A natural change agent with a proactive approach • Working Environment This role is based in a chilled production facility. All necessary PPE will be provided.
