The MR PORTER Own Label team are now seeking a talented Assistant Menswear Designer to join the team. You will be assisting the design and development of the Mr P. collections. Some of the essentials for you to know are:

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:
- Support the Design Manager and Designer across all design activities.
- Conduct trend research and analysis across multi-product categories.
- Assist in creating and updating tech packs, including documenting fit session feedback.
- Prepare presentation materials for design reviews and support range presentations to the wider team and senior management.
- Maintain and organise the fabric and yarn library.
- Ensure all internal samples are organised and well maintained.
- Assist with fabric sourcing, attend supplier and mill meetings, and help build key supplier relationships.
The type of person we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in design
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar position or relevant internships.
- Computer skills: Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Cad, Illustrator and Excel.
- Positive, focused, enthusiastic, with a strong work ethic.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong eagerness to learn.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A passion for the MR PORTER customer and brand.
